LIMERICK senior hurling star Mike Casey is taking part in Movember. Casey is raising funds and awareness this November to support men’s mental health. He will aim to grow a moustache this month.

Movember aims to help a man with a plan on how and when to reach out to a friend who’s struggling with their mental health through the Movember program.

He is taking part in Movember alongside his colleagues in the Limerick Educate Together Secondary School. The North circular road school currently sit in sixth place in the Movember leaderboard from all the school’s that are raising awareness this November.

In October, Casey was part of the Na Piarsaigh that won the Limerick Senior Hurling Championship title getting the better of Doon after extra time. Ballygunner got the better of the Caherdavin club in the Munster SHC quarter-final.

The Limerick defender will now switch his focus to the 2026 inter-county season. John Kiely’s side are officially able to return training on the pitch this Friday evening.
